Trusted Failure 1 of 9

Traditional pickup lines, I abandoned
On a day, I had my head out
While for traditional hookup lines, I modified,
Developing a creative state of mind
Protected in a head, that which appeared first,
Before I arrived here
Resulting modified hookup lines, led I here
But on a day before last, they earned yours truly
An amazing and undesirable rough encounter,
Which could only be demonstrated
Neither narrated, nor described by fancy voices
The ones you heard every time you thought twice
You trusted them before, they led you into failure
It never stopped you from listening to them again
Hoping that another time, it would be a lot different
The same voices, led I here
Anticipating a good encounter
Wearing an outfit,
I snatched from a housemate’s closet
I should have called her my roommate
Not because; we spent most nights in my room
But mainly because, she transferred all her shit,
Into my room
An organized room, I used to maintain
Everything changed, since her and I,
Had our first encounter

I just adore you Joseph. So creative. The video is crucial. I love this performance. And the music, and the rooster… just wonderful. But what happened??? (the random reader inquires while reading) Will there be a further instalment to this tale? By the way I love the music, the background sounds and scenes, and your delivery, because it brings lightness to a topic that while read in black and white (and blue links!) text only, felt dark and forboding… beautiful contrasts. Hugs and love my friend, another Josephian masterpiece xoxoxo πŸŽ‰πŸ™ŒπŸ€—

Am not sure if you are a fun of the cartoon Family Guy, but I am right now doing Stewie’s celebratory dance πŸ˜πŸ˜„πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜ƒ I love the analysis and useful information feedback. I truly appreciate it Nadine.. Hang in there Nadine, this poetic short story is broken down into nine long verses. Although the start sounds dark, it gets humorous mid way and the ending is spectacular πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‹πŸ˜†πŸ˜†
