Raveled Nativity: 4 of 4

On an Isle, I was born
I ran for miles and hours, it was thrilling
An ancestor said, I was a son of a bitch, I liked it
A child said, I was Tinkerbell, I felt offended
For the devil’s sake, the child was banished
And its beaming rays, burnt its natives

On an Isle, I was born
Deeds of all those in heaven, hell, spirit world
Or no more; were remembered: good or evil
In preparation, for a better future of humanity
No such thing, as too much information, existed
And its beaming rays, burnt its natives

On an Isle, I was born
Innovations of a bright future, were mobilized
Advanced; sophisticated; self-reliant machines, ruled
Humans sat on beaches, sipping robotic cocktails
They forgot, to leave a back door open
And its beaming rays, burnt its natives

On an Isle, I was born
I preferred rats to cats, rats looked intelligent
Anytime, could turn into meditation time
Transgender-phobic males, were denied residence
They lied: they forgot, they once had a vagina
And its beaming rays, burnt its natives.
